JobLatch – Platform for getting your job to the passive jobseeker #

A recent Gallup’s Workplace Study suggests that 49% of currently employed workers in United States and Canada are passive job seekers - actively looking for a new job or keeping an eye on opportunities but aren’t submitting job applications.

The top reasons passive job seekers do not apply are no urgency or immediate need, uncertainty of a new job, the time and effort involved and potential breach in confidentiality or privacy resulting in a risk to their current standing in the organization or identity theft.

These passive job seekers shun the search rigor of a typical job-hunting sites and often have a Wishlist of companies and roles. They target these companies through their network and referrals or signal to hiring managers or recruiters by posting content or share articles to demonstrate their skills and expertise.

Resumes vetted by our HR for a tech community builder were so inadequate in experience and background that I personally spent three days searching LinkedIn for the right profileand courting them for openings.
